WHO WE ARE
We are a highly experienced team with a singular vision and passion who have diverse senior management experience backgrounds, and who have all come together out of a desire to create a new intergenerational retirement setting.
We are forward-thinking individuals, paying attention to how people age and what the desires of seniors are. We want to create a space where we ourselves would want to retire, and what other aging seniors are wishing for.
We are a highly experienced team of forward-thinking individuals who have come together to build and deliver the best possible experience in senior living. Our management team is passionate about the dignity and health of seniors.
What is the “Intergenerational” purpose?
- Daily interaction with children at adjacent Montessori school
- University students engaging with the residents for music performances, art classes, etc.
- Restaurant and Spa open to the public to allow families to enjoy meals and amenities with their families.
- Bible studies from the adjacent church
- Research programs studying dementia, physical therapy, and social work.
Our proposed “village” will be a spa-like community with intergenerational integration, focusing on giving seniors purpose, health, and support. It will offer exceptional amenities and exclusive health-care to customers seeking a complete service offering for themselves or loved ones requiring additional care to assure a quality and safe lifestyle. The Halcyon management team is committed to creating a one-of-a-kind, beautiful, boutique-style community that focuses on tailored medical care, healthy diets, wellness, fitness, and improving life’s experiences to the elderly and disabled with impeccable amenities and services. The Memory Care will provide licensed specialty-care required to support residents in a home-like environment rather than the traditional institutional care model.
Research has shown that those that incorporate music into their life age slower, and stay more active. It also lowers behaviors in dementia patients. We plan to have daily music classes.
Art is an important expression at every age and we want to incorporate daily art activities. It gives a critical sense of purpose needed for healthy aging.
State-of-the-art medical services, including geriatric specialized physician services, continuum of care for those who need it, home health, and hospice on-site.
